Clients and agreed prices: sell with margins in view
Keep contacts and event history, set sale prices for each client and compare the agreed price with live costs before creating sales orders.
Updated on October 19, 2026
Clients, agreed prices, Events and Sales orders are available from Mise Essential, with no usage limits. Generating production from an order and deducting stock on delivery require Mise Pro or Mise Pro HACCP.
Where do I add a client and what does their record keep?
Under Offer → Clients, press “New client”. Save the name, company, contact, segment, email, phone, tax ID, address, external reference and notes you need to work with them.
The record brings together contact and tax details, event history, Pricing and Sales orders. Events linked to that client appear with their status and amount; the summary shows events, quoted, invoiced and the last event.
How do I set a different price for each client?
- Open the client record and its “Pricing” section.
- Press “Add price” and search for a final or intermediate preparation.
- For a final preparation, choose the “Sale format” where relevant (how formats are created); otherwise use the per-serving base. Intermediate preparations use their yield unit.
- Enter the “Sale price”, excluding VAT. You can save a minimum order, notes and whether the price is active.
- Press “Save price” and check the resulting row.
The price is linked to that client, product and format. You can edit, pause or delete it from Pricing.
What do live cost, food cost and contribution tell me?
Pricing compares Live cost, Food cost, Contribution, Suggested and Applied. Live cost and food cost update when your costings change; the agreed price lets you check whether what you sell still contributes to your margin.
Contribution is the difference between sales and product cost; it is not the business’s final profit. Use P&L management for staff, rent and other expenses. If yield or cost data is missing, check the record before relying on the price. See food cost and margin calculations.
How do I move from a client to an order or event?
Under “Sales orders”, press “New order” to create one for that client. When adding products, the order can use the active agreed price for that product and format. Review every line before confirming; sales orders and delivery explains frozen prices, production and delivery.
For an event, select the client under Offer → Events. The event retains its own quote and versions; product pricing does not replace its costing.
Does this issue invoices or synchronize my ERP?
No. Tax details and the external reference help identify the client in your work. Saving a reference does not automatically connect Miselup to another system. Miselup is not a fiscal invoicing system or POS; its sales documents are working documents.
See Miselup plans to compare the other features.
