Connecting Claude or ChatGPT to your data with the Super MCP Connector

What is the Super MCP Connector?

The Super MCP Connector is the door that connects the AI assistant you already use to your real Miselup data: costings, P&L, inventory and data entry, with nothing to export. You have it inside the app, in the «AI for your business» → «Super MCP Connector» menu group, and its public page is at miselup.pro/en/mcp/.

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard, so this isn’t a bridge built for one single assistant: any client that supports remote MCP connectors can talk to your Miselup account.

Which assistants does it work with?

With any MCP-compatible client: Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Manus, Gemini, Cursor, Copilot, Grok and more. There is nothing to install — no Node.js, no config files: the connector is remote and self-service.

How do I connect my AI assistant to Miselup?

The Super MCP Connector screen sums it up in three steps and gives you the connector URL right there to copy:

1. In your AI assistant, open the connector settings and choose «Add custom connector».
2. Paste the connector URL — https://mcp.miselup.pro/mcp — into the field it asks for.
3. Sign in with your Miselup email and password on our page. That’s it: you can now ask about your business from your assistant.

What can I ask it once it is connected?

The ones the screen itself gives as examples:

• “Break down the recipe cost for Grilled octopus”
• “Which dishes have a food cost above 35%?”
• “How did yesterday go? Am I making or losing money this month?”
• “What are the top 5 ingredients driving costs on my menu?”

On the reading side it covers the business overview (organization, currency, plan, VAT and operating days), dishes with cost, selling price and margin, the recipe costing recalculated live with the app’s same formulas, the day’s P&L, and search plus the full record of suppliers, ingredients, preparations, recipes, techniques and smallwares.

Can it create and edit records, or only look things up?

It writes too, and that is the difference with Mise Agent —the internal agent, which only reads (/en/help/what-mise-agent-can-do/)—. From the Super MCP Connector chat you can add and edit ingredients and suppliers (creating new suppliers needs the Essential plan or higher), preparations and final recipes with their costing, techniques and smallwares, your à la carte menus, set menus and buffets, customers with their price list, sales orders and the BEO of a catering event.

And it is reversible: you archive to retire something without losing it, and you restore it whenever you want with the history intact.

Which plan do I need?

• Day-to-day reading and writing — on every plan.
• Advanced analysis (month-to-date total, valued inventory, profitability by dish and ingredient Pareto) and running inventory, lots, HACCP, production and purchasing — Pro plan.

The connector is included in your plan at no extra cost, and it doesn’t use up your Mise credits. The plans are at miselup.pro/en/pricing/.

Is it safe? Can it see other businesses?

It can’t. Isolation is enforced by the server: every query travels with your personal token and Row-Level Security (RLS) only returns your business’s data, exactly as in the app. You sign in via OAuth on Miselup’s page, your assistant receives a limited token that never contains your password and that you can revoke whenever you want. There is no admin key to steal.

Known limits

• Billing, user management and settings are out of scope for the Super MCP Connector: those are only touched from the Miselup dashboard.
• The employee role can’t write through the connector.
• A permanent delete is blocked while the record is still in use. Archive instead, and restore it when you need it.
• The tool list is cached in your assistant. If you have just upgraded and don’t see the new capabilities, remove the connector and add it again.
