Mise credits: what they are and how to top up

What are Mise credits?

The credit is the currency you pay for using Mise Agent, Miselup’s AI agent. It is one single currency for everything: your plan grants you an allowance of credits each month and you spend them on whatever you like while talking to Mise. When they run out, you top up.

How much does each message use?

10 credits per message. It is a flat rate per message: it doesn’t matter whether the question is short or long, and it doesn’t matter how much data Mise has to look up to answer you. The app says so on the counter in the composer itself: Mise credits available (10 per message).

How many credits does my plan give me each month?

The monthly allowance of Mise credits depends on your plan:

Every plan includes a monthly credit allowance — the higher the plan, the more conversations with Mise it brings as standard. The current allowance for each plan is on the pricing page.

Credits come with your subscription, so an account with no active plan gets no monthly allowance. What each plan brings and how to change it is at miselup.pro/en/pricing/ and at /en/help/plans-and-upgrades/.

Where do I see my balance?

In the Mise Agent chat itself, in the composer: the counter of available credits is always there. When the balance starts running low (once you have spent 80% of your allowance, or when it no longer covers the next message), the «You have X credits left» notice appears with the top-up button next to it.

How do I top up credits?

1. Press the credit counter in the Mise chat, or the «Top up from €5» button on the low-balance notice.
2. Under «How much do you want to top up?» pick one of the one-click amounts (€5, €10, €20, €50 or €100) or type your own under «Another amount».
3. Press «Go to checkout»: the secure payment screen opens.
4. Confirm the payment. When you come back you will see the payment-received notice; if the balance hasn’t updated yet, reload the page.

There is a single credit price: €5 = 1,000 credits (100 messages), and it is worth the same whatever you buy, with no tiers and no volume discounts. Amounts are excluding VAT —your country’s tax is added at checkout— and every top-up generates its own invoice, like any other payment on your account (/en/help/invoices-and-payments/).

Do credits expire?

Yes, and not all of them in the same way:

• Plan credits expire at the end of the month and come back with the following month’s allowance.
• Credits bought in a top-up expire after 12 months.

In what order are they spent?

Always whatever expires first. That is: plan credits are spent before the ones you have bought, so the top-up you paid for doesn’t evaporate at the end of the month. It isn’t an optimization, it is the counter’s fixed rule.

What happens if I hit zero?

Mise stops answering and tells you so with the message «You’re out of Mise credits», with a one-click top-up. Nothing is lost: your conversations are still there and your plan credits come back the following month. A turn is never charged halfway: if you don’t have enough for the whole message, not a single credit is deducted.

Known limits

• A top-up runs from €5 to €500, in multiples of €5. If you need more than €500 in one go, do two top-ups: the price per credit is the same.
• The amount field only accepts digits, no dots or commas: type 100, not 100.00.
• Changing a plan’s allowance doesn’t affect what you already have. Granted credits stay in your balance until you spend them or they expire.
• Credits belong to the organization, not to each user. Your whole team draws from the same pool.

Do AI photos use the same Mise balance?

Yes. Generating or enhancing an image costs 100 credits per saved result; a deep report costs 300 and a message costs 10. The original is preserved. Photos and conversations share one balance rather than separate allowances.
